Jump Training
64How to Jump Higher
Learning how to jump higher is something that most people will never understand because they don't have anyone knowledgeable enough to teach them. You can't just go out and play volleyball or basketball all day and expect to be jumping 40 inches in a few months.
The fact is that it takes a proper jump training program focused precisely on trying to increase your vertical leap to get the results you want. You can't just jump rope for 10 minutes a day and then think that you are set. You have to know how to train correctly and what not to do as well as what to do when it comes to training to increase your vertical.
Vertical Jump Training Program
A vertical jump training program is very necessary if you want to make it in the sports world. I don't know any volleyball players that are successfull that don't have at least a 36 inch vertical. If you are shorter than 6'3" you will need a vertical in the 40's to compete against the 6'10" guys that you will find in the higher competition. You might be thinking that you could never get your vertical into the 40's but I am here to tell you that it is possible for most people that are capable of training to get a 40 inch vertical leap. All you have to do is know how to train properly and then work at it. Don't overtrain yourself and make sure you are getting enough protein. Follow a jump program like the Jump Mentor that will give you great results and doesn't cost a lot of money like so many other jump programs.
