When going about doing taxes, you often need to hire a tax attorney before you run into problems with the IRS.  They are very easy to work with and can prevent you from getting in too deep.  Sadly most people decide to hire tax relief attorneys after they are in serious trouble with the IRS. 

So how do you know who to hire when looking for income tax attorneys?

Make sure that they are a trusted name.  Don't be afraid to ask the tough questions and do a little bit of questioning.  Did they go an accredited law school?  Do they have a J.M.?  Do they have experience in the exact field where you find yourself in trouble?

An attorneys tax is something that you have to pay the tax lawyer on top of the normal fee that they will charge you. 

Instead of hiring a lawyer and an accountant, you can just get a tax lawyer because they are trained in both areas.  Don't over spend, make sure you shop around and find the normal going rate for lawyers in your area.
